Saltwater Fishing
Florida is home to some of the finest fishing in the country with opportunities to catch a wide variety of fish. Depending upon the season,
we will target inshore and nearshore species including Tarpon, Redfish, Jack Crevalle, Ladyfish, Bluefish, Snook, Spanish Mackerel and Flounder.
Most of the trips are focused on the scenic backwaters and estuaries that are along the intercoastal waterway in the Indian River from Melbourne to Ft. Pierce and also the west gulf coast near Homosassa Springs, Crystal River.
Homosassa and Crystal River is a beautiful springfed river that flows out to some of the most beautiful flats in the state. These areas are home to Dolphin, Osprey, Manatee, and of course the beautiful scenery of Florida's east coast and west coast. Live bait, fishing license, ice, bottled water/soda and only the best fishing tackle provided with every charter.
You will be fishing some of the best backwater, nearshore, and inshore fishing in the State of Florida.
Tips and Tactics
Anglers are most successful during a fluctuation in the barometric pressure on an incoming or outgoing tide (moving water-not slack).
Work the inlets near open waters. Fish further inland during slack tide. Game fish follow bait runs that move into and out of the bays, flats and mangrove channels.
Look for the game fish feeding on the bait stacking up in these areas until the tide goes back out and moves them out to open water.
With live bait, fish around structures such as piers, pilings, docks, etc. Cast live bait into the tide and let bait drift back to you until you catch the big one.
During the hot summer months nighttime fishing can be very productive and a good way to beat the Florida heat.
